At the Helm of the Maintenance Division is Martin Cleary.  After attaining degrees in horticulture and landscape design from the University of California at Davis, Martin co-founded Cleary Bros. Landscape. 

What began as a couple of guys and a lawnmower has evolved into an award winning landscape construction and maintenance firm that has proudly been serving the Bay Area’s residential and commercial landscape construction and maintenance needs since 1987. 

Away from the office, Martin enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and is a novice vintner.

Leading the construction division is Michael Cleary, also a graduate of UC Davis with a degree in horticulture and economics.   Mikes passion for excellence and drive to be challenged has earned the company many award winning projects as well as a reputation for completing challenging projects for the discerning clients.

Mike is an avid outdoorsman and has spent many weekends volunteering with the Adaptive Ski School in the Sierras.

Palmer is a native of California and absolutely loves this area. He loves life and meeting new people, has a huge desire to explore and travel the world, especially France.

Failed chemistry at UCLA and decided to take a step down to biology (easier), and here I am where I want to be. I love to watch plants mature and bloom in the most amazing colors.

Palmer Hill has been an Account Manager with Cleary Bros. for 15 years and manages large HOA's, Commercial Shopping Centers, Business Centers and Parks in parts of Walnut Creek, Oakland, Alameda and San Jose.

As the most recent addition to the Cleary family, Julie’s presence greatly compliments the team. Her focus has always been on the renovation and care of large properties including world class golf courses.

Julie is also a renowned sustainable landscape designer. 

In her spare time, Julie loves to explore California with her husband and volunteer for breast cancer research funding. .

When out of the field and with her family, Karine` enjoys hiking with her daughter and creating confectionary masterpieces in the kitchen.

As an Account Manager, David’s focus is property rejuvenation and conservative water use. 

He manages large HOA's, Commercial Shopping Centers, and Business Centers in the East Bay, including the 580 and 680 corridors.

Few people know that David is an avid bird watcher, gourmet chef and could double as a sommelier at the finest French restaurants.

Pedro is one of Cleary Bros. longest tenured team members, joining the company in 1992. 

He’s responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s tree division, from managing crews, to training, to estimating.  Pedro is a self-taught, energetic entrepreneur who values hard work and a team effort. 

When not at work, he can often be found spending time with his family or playing with his band.
